Beware!  Someone is watching every move you make with your money!  Literally, every financial transaction you make in life is being monitored, reported and scored.

The nature of our credit centered financial system is not necessarily paper money friendly.  Sure, you can use cash to make purchases (although most people don’t), but many of the conveniences and pleasures afforded by having “good credit” would be much more difficult to experience.

Making hotel reservations, renting cars, buying concert tickets and a host of other activities which are often taken for granted, would be hard to do…without credit.  Having good credit can mean the difference in the amount of interest on home and vehicle loans.  Having good credit and using it wisely is also essential these days when many employers use credit worthiness as a determining factor in hiring decisions.

Most people are not taught debt management and must learn from trail, error and often times down right failure.  Understanding and navigating the use (and misuse) of your finances is a crucial factor in enjoying bits and pieces of “the American Dream”.

In this section, you will get honest answers to your credit and debt questions.  Our guest bloggers include mortgage and financial specialists who can offer you common sense advice on having and maintaining good credit and using it wisely.
