It occured to me, (in a quite unlikely place), that unless you are willing to actually take steps, you can’t honestly, and effectively tap into your purest potentials. Everything starts with those “first steps” that you are willing to “step out on your faith on”…all the other steps that follow, are mere hops and skips to whatever your faith’s reality, and destiny is for yourself.
In otherwords, thinking inside the box, not thinking outside of the box…starting from within.
Just the thought itself, resonates power, pure power…belief in ones potentials to actually meet your particular challenges head on, and to accomplish as many of your goals as you choose to venture upon.
The power to turn ”I think I can,” into “I know I can”, and ultimately, into “I simply am”, capable, deserving, and presently prospering (let’s put future tense on the back burner for now), from every thing your heart should desire, simply by having faith first, then faith in one’s self “next”. And then, taking the next first step, and the next first step into each future moment, while focusing on your game plan at all times. Assessing your challenges and developing strategic plans to attaining whatever you may see, on the other side of those goal posts.
The wonderful thing about personal strategy (strategies) is that it represents focused attack on an obstacle, perceived within yourself or not. The power of personal strategy is the ability to draw up your plan of attack and take the necessary steps to attain those things beyond those steps.
And how, you may ask, are you to accomplish this task? Only you have that answer! Wow, no matter what you choose, as long as it is positive, humble, and promotes the generosity of power, it is attainable. However, there are a few standard steps to moving towards your dreams and goals as you step out into the world on your faith.
STEP #1
Take a long hard look at yourself. Be brutally honest with y-o-u, as no one else can be. Assess your strengths, weaknesses, strongest attributes and self-deprecating qualities you may possess. Establish a plan to improve or negate those things from your life which are not bringing you positive ROI (return on investment).
STEP #2
Don’t be too hard on yourself…but don’t allow yourself to get by too lightly either. Be committed to driving yourself beyond the norm. To be unwilling to accept mediocrity or substandards, from you or anyone you surround yourself with.
STEP #3
Seek advice from people whom you trust and admire, AND those who have achieved some of the things you are attempting to achieve. Don’t be afraid to be humble. Remember that the things you don’t know are merely unaswered questions; what you know, can always be enhanced; what you think you know, may not necessarily be correct knowledge; and you can always find someone to teach you just about anything you want to know!
STEP #4
Refrain from being closed minded and too objective. Know that there is always more than one way to “peel a potatoe”.
STEP #5
Learn to turn self-defeating behavior around. Whenever that little negative voice rears it’s nagging little head, chop it off…with a quickness.
STEPS #6
Develop a personal cheering section. Share your dreams, goals, and visions only with those people who have genuine concern about your welfare and successes in life.
STEP #7
Don’t be afraid to to step back and redo. Sometimes you have to revisit your goals in life so as to restructure and reprioritize them.
STEP #8
Let your “haters” (people that don’t mean you any true good) be your motivaters!
STEP #9
WRITE YOUR GOALS DOWN…STUDY THEM OFTEN. It’s easy to make goals and plans for your future, however, if you do not keep them at the forefront of your mind, you may more easily loose focus and direction. The most successful people are those whom have realistic, written goals. Edit and revise your goals as you accomplish them and when and if you change your mind about them. Don’t lock yourself into goals that you have lost your desire and drive to attain.
STEP #10
Maintain an “I think I can” attitude at all times. Even when you may falter or fall short of your plans…press on and stay directed. THIS IS WHERE YOUR STEPPING OUT ON FAITH KICKS IN. When things seem impossible, allow your faith to provide you with creative vision and new directions to accomplishing your heart’s desires!
